Kadri chips it off the boards to Ashton, who has a step on Subban. Tinordi prevents the pass to Orr, leaving Ashton with a relatively harmless attempt.

Bodie perfectly blocks Diaz's shot, trapping the Swiss defenceman and going right onto Raymond's stick. Bouillon knocks down Raymond's pass for Bolland with his skate, only to have it bounce straight back to Raymond for an easy finish. Couple of great bounces for Mason on this one.

Moen pounces on Phaneuf at the blueline on the powerplay, manages to get around him enough to get to the net, but there's not much of a shot, a just a weak backhander followed by Moen plowing into Reimer.

All four Montreal penalty killers practically on top of each other, going after a loose rebound. Some quick hands from JVR sees him pull the puck out of the mix and flip it on net, forcing a good save from Price.

Nothing special about these powerplay chances. Kessel with a quick shot from the top of the circle; Bozak gets to the rebound from a tight angle, but can't backhand it in.

Kadri chips a puck up in the air back to Gardiner, who tries to knock it down, but only succeeds at chipping it to Eller. With Eller already at speed, Gardiner can't get back enough to stop him from scoring.
